I found this nasty looking old CD.
It has CMX-001 written on it.
I wonder what that means?
I ripped it.
And it turns out it's one of the earliest mix CD's I ever made.
I think there might have been one or two before this one but this is probably the earliest one that still exists.
I've had it in MP3 format for a while now.
I didn't want to release it because I couldn't figure out what half the tracks were and I wanted to make a track list.
Today I found the cover for the CD and it had all the track lists on it.
Sweet.
So now I share it with you.
These tracks all bring back so many memories for me.
It's a serious hodge podge of styles.
Ambient, (Coffee House) Drum and Bass, House, Psy Trance, Asian Electronic, World, and a couple other 'Eletronica' variants.
This was made before I had turntables so it's digitally mixed.
I also had no concept of pitch control back then so there's no blending of beats - just layering of the ambient bits.
